ANNAPOLIS- Today, at the Young Republican National Convention, the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF) elected Jason Emert of Tennessee to serve as the next YRNF Chair along with his YR Majority Slate. NHYR Chair Joe Sweeney released the following statement:
"Back in April, the New Hampshire Young Republican Federation was among the first YR organizations to endorse the YR Majority ticket. We are excited and optimistic that the election of Jason Emert as Chair and the YR Majority slate will build upon the growth the YRNF has seen in the last few years."
"Chairman-emeritus Dennis Cook has led the YRNF diligently over the last two years, and working with him and his team through the last two years has shown me the leadership he brought as a voice for young conservatives across the nation."
"I am also excited and proud to have been elected as the new YRNF Northeast Regional Secretary, and look forward to working with Northeast Regional Directors Lia Fahey of Massachusetts and Josué Rivera of Puerto Rico, under the leadership of Northeast Regional Vice Chair John Doyle of New York. After re-chartering the New Hampshire Young Republican Federation in 2016, I am excited to get more involved with the YRNF as we strengthen the bond between our state and the national federation."
